    Overview

    The third step of the Data Curation Lifecycle (DCC) is data ingestion. If the data you have reviewed is to be transferred to your research data center, archive, or repository, there are several important aspects which should be considered in regards of handling research data. This process primarily involves such aspects as data preparation, ingestion, and documentation.
